Laing Bennett is an independently owned and run estate and letting agent that opened in the summer of 2009 in the Estate Office, Lyminge, which was formally occupied by Haxtons Estate Agents. Company director and owner Bill Laing has over ten years of experience of the industry under his belt, having worked extensively throughout East Kent running a variety of different estate and letting agents before setting up Laing Bennett. He is also a local having been born and brought up in the village. From our base in Lyminge, Bill and his small team of property professionals aim to provide an unrivalled personalised service for the local community. We strive to make selling or letting your home as stress and hassle free as possible, by tailoring our services to each individual clients situation. Before opening it was clear that the Elham Valley was poorly served by letting agents with landlords having no choice but to use a Folkestone or Canterbury agent. Since the launch of our Lettings department both Landlords and Tenants are benefitting from a locally based service. With a high demand for property in the area we have been swiftly letting property to waiting tenants. Community is also important to the company and we support many local events and charities throughout the year. For example, we assist the Lyminge Association by having the Christmas tree and lights outside our office. We also act as the box office for the village pantomime and other shows and concerts. We also provide a much needed photocopying and faxing service with all monies for black and white copies going to charity. Our location in Lyminge has a long tradition of being an estate agency and it is Laing Bennett’s pleasure to carry that forward into the future.
